I bought an unpaired shrimp anf goby and they paired up almost immediately. Funny thing when i upgraded from a 15 to 55, they got seperated for a night in the larger tank. Goby got netted in, and shrimp was hiding in a rock so we just set the rock in the new tank All night you could hear the shrimp clicking like he was alerting his buddy where he was. Next morning they emerged together from under a rock, wonder though, who found who.

They will get together once they have a burrow to hide in together.
Jesse- Any watchman type goby will pair with your pistol shrimp.

can i see some pics? pretty please????
what kind of gobie do you have with it?
i would of got it already except i want to get the gobie and the shrimp at the same time... . heard you have more success of them pairing up if introduced at the same time.
Im still trying to decide which kind of gobie to put with it... i just saw a pic of the yellow watchman gobie.. looks pretty neat.

Jess, I don't have one picture with every shrimp in the same pic if not I would post it but they all definitely co-exist in my tank.
-The Sexy Shrimp wanders a bit but can usually be found near by bubbletip anemone.
-My Anemone Shrimp is always on my Bubbletip Anemone, and doesn't seem to mind the Sexy Shrimp hanging out neaby.
-My Randalli Pistol Shrimp has one particular rock near the front of the tank that he is always under and has about 4 different holes coming out from underneath that rock. I don't have a Goby for him yet but plan on getting one soon (Been thinking about a Barbershop Goby though),
-My Fire Shrimp is the boss for the most part since he is the biggest, he can make the cleaner shrimp pick a new spot if he wants to be a bully but that rarely happens and they hang out near each other for the most part.
-I also have one Monkey Shrimp, a bit creepy looking and is really only visible at night. During the day I see him now and then but is much more shy with the lights on.
-Additionally, I have a few seaweed shrimp that I collected from seaweed/sargassum found in the local waters. The small ones were brought in as fresh live fish food and the bigger and stealthier ones survived and don't get bothered by anyone now. They are all smaller than an inch and they can be fun to watch.
Bottom line is that everyone gets along fine in my 120.
