If i have a mated pair of pistol shrimp, will they form a symbiotic relationship with a goby?
The might, but in order to help out, you may have to stick them in their own crate inside the tank (those clear plastic hamster containers w/ the florescent vented tops). Usually they need to pair when they're young, or it doesn't work out.
How old are the shrimp? If they're full grown, the goby might not want to take the risk of sharing a burrow with two.

they are already mated. They are about 9-10 months old.
Might not be the best idea. They probably won't take to the shrimp. However, you can have the shrimp in it's own burrow. I have two that live in their own burrows without gobies.
