Pistol shrimp is taking over!

I have a Caribbean Pistol Shrimp that has taken over the bottom of the tank. He doesn’t bury himself in the sand but does have trails all through the rock work. He also won’t let anything come in his area especially the serpent stars. I’m afraid he’s going to starve them since they aren’t allowed hardly anywhere on the sand and removing the pistol shrimp is not going to happen except maybe with a special trap. He loves to build what I like to call his main part of the house. He has found all the leftover crush coral and has built up a nice shack. I lost a suction cup (medium size) in the tank many months ago and I saw last night that it is now what I like to call part of his roof. It has moved I think all the sand in the back of the tank to the front. He used to stay in a small area but that has changed. Anyway, that’s my experience with this guy. My tiger pistol stays with my yellow watchman and doesn’t go anywhere.

Hmm, I have a Carribean Pistol shrimp and he isn't aggresive at all. He has a cave under a rock and never leaves. The only thing he does is snap if someone gets to close too him.

Mine always goes to popping when the lights go out and I thought he stayed in his place but I did notice a lot of sand being moved in various locations. Last night I saw what he does. Lights went out and he went to popping. There was a serpent star in his lair and the shrimp was making him leave. He then would dissapear and pop out of one hole, go in and pop out another hole and after 20 minutes or I realized he had an extensive lair.
