recently i was watching animal planet's most extreme show, and saw a pistol shrimp kill a cleaner shrimp. will this happen in captivity?

i have a cleaner and a pistol... i also had a coral banded with the pistol... the coral banded and pistol got into it once with no winner
the cleaner is on the rocks and the pistol NEVER goes anywhere but the sand.... so they never even see each other.
if they were to fight, the pistol is like an armored car and i doubt the cleaner would stand a chance.
