placment of elegant

I have my elegant at the top .i have 2- 400wt 14k & 4-65wt 03 blues
Istared at the bootm of my tank twan moved it up over time. Ive had it for a year now. And just depends on what the lighting was in the other tank.
mine is under the cross brase of my 150 gal. so it gets some shade.
Is it a short or long tentacle. Ithink the short likes lower light and the long tentacles ones like higher light.Mite be wrong. but thats what ive heard.
mine is in middem flow. Hope this hleps . and feed them just as your light go out. once or twice a week.

mines on the sand and wont stop growing. got it at about 5-6 inches and when its open its about 12 inches
