OK all - I am looking for HIGHLY DETAILED plans of a 75 gallon Stand and canopy for a standard 75 gallon tank. There is an overflow but it is up near the top of the tank and not htrough the bottom so I need an open back .... I want something with measurements and everything .....
As Bronco will attest I am not the most handiest of people and right now my tool selection is a bit sparse. I would prefer to sepnd money on the tank and not a new table saw ....
Any help is greatly apprecaited!!

IMO it will be difficult to build a nice looking sturdy stand and canopy withouth the right equipment. Good luck, let me know if I can help in any way.

I'm sure you have seen some pics of my canopy. All my cuts are straight. The trick is to hide all exposed ends with some type of trim. Do you plan on making your cuts with a circular saw?

I have never had to have a hardware store cut my lumber before so I don't know how good of a job they do. Just make sure they know it is for a nice cabinet your going to make. Here is a pic of mine. And one almost exactly the same I built for a guy in Mississippi. Ignore the drawing on my pic.
