plant taking over tank

being new to sw tank, i saw plants in a tank in the local pet store for salt water so i purchased some. now it is taking over my tank. i have a 20 gal long tank. one or two times a week i pull out a large cup of the plant but i would really like to get rid of it all together. is there a way to remove it from my tank?

Hiya,
You could just pull it all out. Depending on what you have in your tank, you could add a fish to help eat it or my emeralds ate some of my algeas.
