Where in the *** do I get plastic hose clamps to go on my return pump in the sump? I currently have a stainless steel clamp which is rusting. I went to Lowe's and auto zone and had no luck. ?????

I think your looking for the black plastic hose clamps that you just close with a pliers. Any good lfs or online store should have them. If you can't find them, PM me and I'll give you a couple of sources. They really work well!
*thats not what the PM feature is for the same rules still apply to PM as they do for the regular forum*

They do: i've been stoned so many times by the admins, that I'm really leery of even hinting at the names of SWF competitors. But, as SWF, doesn't have them, we should be safe. BTW, I read on another post that SWF.com is really concentrating on livestock anyway. I'm glad to see that, IMO, their fish, service & prices are unbeatable; but selection is sometimes frustrating. In their defense, maintaining stock of exotic livestock has to be a very tough business.
Also, those plastic cable ties are handy; but I wouldn't trust them as hose clamps

It doesnt work that way even though they are currently concentrating on livestock it doesnt mean that links and here is where you can find them at a competitor posts are allowed.

I had a near disaster when one of the 'zip ties' failed. I would not suggest using them in that application.

If your using clear hose just get those barbed ends.Stick the hose in boiling water and shove them on they will never come off that way

Funny thing, after typing this thread I looked in the box and guess what I found?
I started thinking, why in the hell wouldn't they supply me one with the return pump? And of course they did. Somehow it just hid from me for 4 weeks. I feel rather stupid!! Got one now.
Yea, I would be very scared of using a zip tie... that's all I need is the return hose slipping off and 581gph shooting straight up like a hot spring in my sump.
