plate coral ate a snail now what??

My short tenacled plate coral ate a snail tonight. Now he's all blown up in the center. Will he die? Will he be able to digest the shell? Or will he have to spit it out? Should I be worried?

He'll be fine. He'll digest what he can and expell the leftover back out.
