Playin Hookey

Decided to play hookey from work today. I've only taken one personal day in the last 2 years other than scheduled vacation days so I think I deserve it. Absolutley beautiful outside, I think I'm going to head down to the beach or bay and do some fishin. Wish me luck.

Heck ya!! I used to work for a big company and it was some what encouraged to take your two personal days a year. I loved a surpise day off especially when you are not sick and can actually do stuff. I work for a small family company now so no time off unless you have a vacation scheduled or are in the hosiptal (not joking, if you are real sick, there is a couch in the office to lay down on but you still have to come in).

Awesome! Enjoy the day off. I think I'm feeling an illness coming on. I mean I have never used a sick day with the company I work for (been there over 4 years). I have the time why not use it.
