Here are a few pics using flash and then no flash. I will have to say that it's almost impossible to get a crisp pic unless the glass is cleaned on the inside of tank righ before you start taking pics.

Images actually come out brighter without the flash. You can see the flash in the image #2, then #3 is without flash. Obvious shift in color.....Lots to learn

This last image is on my favorite coral, Lava Flow Echino. Pain to feed but I love the colors

nice pics, i myself know nothing about taking quality pictures, and i will be getting a digital camera soon and am excited to learn...
what exactly is that last coral? i like it. you say it is a pain to feed it... what do you have to do to feed it?

Lava Flow chalice, feedking tentacles are hard to see and seems like there never all out at the same time.

That works with most PAS cameras, but not so much with SLR's because of focal length.

avoid using pop up flash...they are all crap
stick with tripod and natural light..plus I think flash pics of corals make them look fake and plastic
