Please explain!

T5's have a couple of bulbs to choose from - 10k or 460 nm for example!
I am going to get a current nova extreme t5 fixture- so is it better to have the 10k and 460 nm bulb in the fixture or is it better to have two 460 nm bulbs in the fixture?
And please explain what nm (460 nm) means!
Which bulb choice is better?

10k is your "white"
460 is your actinic
I run them both at the same time After starting the actinics for one hour, then off one hour later than the 10k

i like using both at the same time because it gives you a wider spectrum of light and i dont like a completely blue tank

I forgot to mention it will be added with my MH setup- 10k bulb, b/c I like the blue looking tank color!
