I have a 37g tank. I would like some ideas on the tank set-up to house an Eel. (Skimmer, sump or fuge, substrate, water movement, lighting, how much LR, etc.) I know my choices are limited but suggestions on an Eel would be great also.
Unless you're willing to spend a few hundred bucks on a Dwarf Goldentail, you're not gonna find a species of Moray that'll be suitable for that size tank.
we just got a garden ell. does anyone out there have the specs on what they need for temp., pH, Ammonia, etc,....?
The snowfalkes appear to be just about unkillable, one accidently got caught in my live rock during a water change yesterday. I had taken the rock out to make more room to do the change. The ell must have spent about 15minutes in a box :scared: he's still alive!
why would you have your live rock out of water for 15 minutes?
most morays can spend much longer than that out of water.
snowflakes get to over 3 foot long; it would be unsuitable to keep it in a 27gal.
