THIS MIGHT BE A LONG READ, BUT PELASE READ IT ALL AND HELP ME. thanks if you do read it all!

ok here is my set up. 14G bio cube, stock 24W lights (48W total) stealth heater
stock list:
2 false perc.
1 pep. shrimp
1 emerald crab
4 turbo snails
Corals (in order added)
Mushroom (kelly green)
Trumpets (neon green)
Zoa's ( RDE)
Galaxy (brown with green tips)
devils hand (red... starting to bleach out? added last Saturday, the 16th I believe)
water parameters:
PH- 8.2
Nitrate- 5-10ppm
Nitrite-0ppm
Ammonia-0ppm
temp ~ 79*
now the issue.. I was just sitting at my computer, got up went over to my tank which is behind me to turn the lights off and go to bed... look in my tank and it looks really cloudy.. the glass is a little dirty (brown algea) no big deal I will clean it tomorow when i get my new mag float. water still looks cloudy, I check my filter.. filter is brown, last time I did anything with it was about 2 weeks ago when I just rinsed it off and put it back in (I know not the best idea, I had no cash tho so I had to do it) changed that and the water still looks cloudy. so I did a water test on it to see what might be wrong with it... nothing that my tests shows jumps out at me.. 5-10ppm for the nitrates isn't going to cause cloudy water correct? could my devils hand bleaching out cause this? is there something I am not "seeing" here that might be causing this?
please let me know ASAP what you think it might be and if I need to worry and remove my fish. I will have my laptop on all day at work tomorow so I will check back often.
thanks for those of you that read this all haha

hmm...i would try some activated carbon in the filter. not sure what could be causing that if your specs are down cause obviously nothing died..and if you have cleaned filter and such..idk. i'm no expert but i would just use some carbon and see how that goes.

i believe the filter has carbon in it already... I am starting to think it was just a dirty filter that was my issue..

What do you mean by cloudy? Like white smokey cloudy? Air bubble cloudy? I have made a bonehead move by not rinsing a carbon bag, before I threw it into my tank before, and that caused a white smokey look on my Aquarium.
If it is not that then I am not sure. Have you added any chemicals to your tank recently?

it is or was like a light foggy look, not air bubble or anything. I forgot to rise this filter.. but I only changed it after I noticed it was a little cloudy in there. I also cleaned my glass too which might have help minimally. last chemical I added and it was yesterday would be seachem calcification.. which I have added before without the water getting cloudy. the time I put the seachem in was about 2.. the time I started to notice the cloudiness was about 9:30 that night. I also read that my filters do not have carbon in them, like I believe I said above.

I see you said you added calcium supplement before it happened. Are you testing your calcium levels because if you are not and your calcium levels are too high the calcium willmake the water cloudy.
First things always first. if you have having a water problem do a water change after you have tested the water params. Then go from there.

It has probably been said a million times, and someone may have already said it but you should always have a test for anything that you are dosing i.e.calcium, strontium, etc. Just makes sense, you don't want to add something if you may not need it. Good luck.
