What's up with my clowns ?
They eat good act ok but on there face looks real bad almost like there face is getting eating by something ? there bodies look real good also !!!
Somebody told me to ask for your help !!!!

Can a clown get HLLE?? Gun freak, do you know what that looks like?? I don't even know if a clown can get it but this'll bump ya anyway...

Need more details about what you are seeing. Can you post a picture?
Take a look at the Diseased Fish Thread at the top of this forum and look at the pictures there of HLLE as well as Hypermelaninazation.

Well the skin around the lips looks mest up , the white lines near there head look like some parts of the line are gone and parts look pitted also around the eyes look eroded , they did not look like this when I got them ,But I will never buy fish again at ***** I feed them good they get mysis shimp and other stuff !!! they do act normal .
Oh sorry no camera ....

Well now that I held off buying guns :thinking: I maybe buy the wife one for x-mas !!!:yes:

Did you look in the Diseased Fish thread to see if anything looked similiar. Speciifically, hypermelination or Head and Laterial Line Erosion.
What are your water readings? Do you have corals, anemone?

Gun freak .. i dont know if this happened in your case , but i had something that sounds just about the same happened to my clown (his mouth looked like it was getting eaten away by something). What i think i did wrong or was explained was the problem is that i added raw salt to my tank to raise my salt.level and it caused the problem. The clown died few days after that ... hope your clown gets better

Maybe , but they are fine as for the way they are living they just look like crap on there face ,they eat like pigs !!!:joy:

What I am trying to find out is if the fiesh seems to be removed, leaving the underlying skin exposed.
