Please help, carpet anenome stuck.

My carpet anenome that I bought moved from the top of my live rock down the back and seems to be cought up in the intake filter .... I turned off the pump but he still seems to be stuck and he is also hanging on to the glass so I cannot just pull him up. I have tried but I don't want to rip him by pulling to hard. Hoe long will the rest of my tank live without the pump on.
Or any suggestions

If you have other circulation such as powerheads etc. then I would leave the pump off and let it free itself. If it stays there for a very long time then maybe I would consider trying to get it out yourself but only as a last option. If your heater is in your sump keep an eye on the temp too.
