Just got today the aquafuge 23 1/2 inch refugium with built in skimmer. Looks great! Bigger than I thought and going to be al ittle tougher to get on back of tank well. BUT.... it came with 2 little "feet" Is there a way to make this under then tank in my cabinet?? I assume I would need something to attach to the inlet and outake to get it into the back of the tank over the side but it came with a powerhead also for the skimmer, not sure about that? I am very new at this and hoping for a better result here. I won't have great access in seeing the refusium if it is on the back of the tank so this was just a thought...anyone please help!

Yes, it can be done. :) Simply get what is called an overflow box from your lfs (local fish store); they are about 38-45 bucks. You simply place the overflow box inside your tank. It's like a square cup that allows water to flow into it. Then, two U shaped tubes suck the h20 from the cup into a small chamber, basically the size and shape of a shoe box (this hangs on the back of your tank). From there, hoses take the h20 down to your refugium and your in business. You might have to buy the hoses that take the h20 down to the filter, but they're only about 2 bucks a foot...you'll probably need around 2-3 feet. It depends how tall your tank & stand are, and how far away your filter is away from your overflow box. Hope this helps. Write back and let me know how it went or if I've totally confused you. Just go to your lfs and 'splain what cha need.
