I thought the fireworm had white bristles.
Anyway wfd if i is do not touch it. Very painful.

The colour of the bristles doesn't ID it. There are different types of fireworms but the "real" one, the Hermodice carunculata, can be ID'd by it's red mouth.

Some I keep if I can sustain them.... bad or good.
I do a lot of reading on them, get some good photos if I can and bring them to the proper people to get ID'd. Hitchhikers are my passion and when I take photos it's like adding a new picture to my Hitchhiker stamp collection. I'm trying to get them all together in a pretty little presentation.
In short.... I'm nutz for the reef bugs.
Some like zoas... I like critters....
