They're little white things... maybe even a light lavender color and are starting to appear on our live rock. There are about 6 or so now. We're on day 15 of our cycle. Thanks!

that's a potential trouble there.
that's a lot of hair algae for a new 15days tank

What should we do to get rid of it? We were told that it would go through different stages of algae and to leave it. That was before there was hair algae though.

We have a pro clear 175 with dual overflows and a berlin turbo protein skimmer.
Anyone have an ID on the white things?
