First off, I have a 39 gallon fish only tank with perfect water. I set it up 13 weeks ago and after 1 week of perfect water I added 2 damsels to cycle. At week 6 I added a sailfish. At week 7 I added 5 turbo snails to take care of an algae problem and at week 9 I added a bi-color parrot. My water seemed to evaporate at a rate of 4 to 5 gallons a week, so I'm constantly making water additions. Now at almost week 11 all my fish are dead and so is one of my turbo snails.
Symptoms of the fish. 12 days ago my parrots right eye got milky. The next day the left eye got milky. I put him into a Q-Tank and kept watch as he couldn't find the food to eat it, I fear he actually starved. When I found him he had a horrible red blotch covering almost his whole head. At the same time I noticed one of my damsels start to itch on a decorative coral. The other damsel would turn almost completely white when the lights were off. When I turned then on he returned to a brilliant blue withen 5 minutes, but soon he would just hide and never come out. The sailfin looked fine, then one day he was nosing into the crushed coral and gilling heavily. I thought maybe pH burn, but again - chemically perfect water. He died withen the hour. Next day the color changing damsel went belly up. 5 days later the last damsel was dead. Today a turbo snail died.
Does anyone have ANY clue what might be going on here? The nearest trustworthy LSF is an hour away and couldn't help becuase I disposed of the fish. <img src="graemlins//confused.gif" border="0" alt="[confused]" />
