I finally got my new chiller installed and I am using my return pump to circulate water throught the chiller before it returns to my 55gal reef tank. My equipment is a sealife systems bioball equipped sump with the original pump, which is about 8 years old now. The chiller and the sump are on the floor, and the tank is on a stand about 18" above the floor. There is about
15' of additional hose I added when I installed the new chiller. I don't know the capacity of my current pump, but I know I need more flow-the output from the return feels really weak and the chiller is supposed to have 300gph flow.
So, after all that, what do you recommend as far as GPH and brand?
