I have had this tank setup for about 3 months I all the sudden have had this green film show up on the top of the water what is it and how can I get rid of it.
Please help me

do you have a skimmer if not i would add one, also it looks like you could use some more flow add another powerhead and point it so it moves the water on the surface, i think more flow and a skimmer would fix your problem. do a water change and see it that helps out
also do you have a test kit? if so what are your water peramiters looking like?

Have your power head or return breaking the surface of the water. It will break it up a bit, but won't cure it. I'm gonna say that you have too many nutrients in the water, judging by the cyano, and that is what is causing it. A skimmer would help pull the organics out of the water. How often/much are you feeding?

Agree, that is a huge patch of cyano on your sandbed... there are some snails that will devour cyano
