yetiman, you need to post all the info you can about your tank, size of tank, ALL water readings, how you have your tank set up, reef, fo? Etc. Filters, other animals, etc., etc. The more info you can post, the more help we can offer.
Thanks Beth here is some more information. The tank is a 75 gallon FOWL. Filtration is handled by a protein skimmer, undergravel filter with 2 penguin powerheads and magnum 350 with charcoal. I change out 20% of the water every 2 weeks. Tank temperature is kept at 80 degrees with .023 salinity. I have never had an outbreak of ich in the tank. The tank contains the yellow and hippo tank, a half dozen red leg reef crabs and a dozen astrae snails. The tank seems healthy. Both tangs look very pale and fins are ragged looking. It does not look like HLLE to me because the pale look is all over. They have not been eating the seaweed select for the last month. They use to eat it like nuts. I just recently started treating the food with vitachem. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
