PLEASE HELP QUICK.. Ocellaris Clown is sick

The clown that is currently in my QT is sick. He's been there since November 24th. 9 days.
Symptoms:
- He stopped eating 3 days ago.
- Yesterday I noticed that he had what looked like mucous hanging from the gills and that he was breathing harder than normal. So I immediately treated the tank with Coppersafe thinking it was somekind of Gill parasite.
- Today, he looks worse! What I thought was mucous from the gills now looks as if his entire body is peeling. As if shreds of skin are hanging from his body. (looks like dead peeling skin after a sunburn). He's also breathing harder than the day before...
I have NO idea what this is. I've seen ICH, this is not it. Velvet is supposed to look like ich. So I doubt this is velvet...
I'm doing water tests as we speak.
So far:
SG: 1.018
Temp: 81
trite: 0
trate: 0
pH: 8.0
I did a small water change yesterday (3/4 gallon), and daily before that as well. Keep in mind that my tank is a 29gal. long.
PLEASE PLEASE HELP... I don't know what to do!!!

WE HAD THE SAME THING WITH OUR POWDER BLUE TANG....
WE THINK IT WAS OODINIUM AND WE ALSO TREATED WITH
COPPERSAFE....WE ALSO DID A HYPOSALINITY ON THE TANK
BUT HE DIDNT MAKE IT .... WE THINK HE WAS TOO FAR GONE
AT THAT POINT....ALSO...WE GAVE HIM A FRESH WATER BATH
IN HOPES THAT IT WOULD HAVE HELPED....SAME EXACT
SYMPTOMS AS YOU HAVE THERE....
MAYBE YOU SHOULD TRY A FRESH WATER BATH...JUST MAKE
SURE THE TEMPERATURE AND PH ARE THE SAME AS THE
DISPLAY TANK....DID YOU REMOVE ALL THE CARBON OR CHEMI-PURES....WHICHEVER YOU USE BEFORE YOU ADDED COPPERSAFE....? ALSO, BEFORE YOU DO A FRESHWATER BATH....ASK THE SHARKS (MODS) IF IT IS OK TO DO A FRESHWATER BATH ON A CLOWN...
ALSO....IF YOU GIVE HIM A FRESHWATER BATH...MAKE SURE
YOU WATCH HIM TO MAKE SURE HE DOESNT GO BELLY UP....

Why is your SG so low?
IMO it should be at least 1.020 and probably closer to 1.022 or 1.023. Don't know if that has anything to do with it.
