Please Help Replace Wet/Dry to Refugium

I have a 90g reef tank up for some time now. I want to replace my current wet/Dry with refugium. i have the new setup but before i make the swap just have a question. Will the swap crash the tank and restart the cycle?????. I will be adding new miracle mud and cured rock to the refugium.

It might. I would attempt to keep as much of the old media as possible and slowly remove it over time. This will help keep the "new cycle" chance to a minimum. Good Luck with the new setup.
