The last 6 months, maybe more, my coral just dosen't seem healthy. My Zoas are disappearing, or dieing, shrooms are gone, my Wells is not opening as much, and my Blastos are not looking too hot. What is going on. My tank is 2 years old, I have PC's that I replace regulary and I test my trates, Calcium, DKH, and PH. They are all good numbers. My DKH might be a little low, 6-7.
Is there something else I should be checking for? What else should I do.. I do WC every 7-10 days and I have a skimmer. Help please. Oh yeah , water temp 80ish and salt 1.025

Did you quarantine? Did you dip everything before it went into the tank? Any number of coral parasites could have come in on one frag. If your parameters are good and you can find nothing in your lighting or husbandry practices at fault then start tearing down and dipping corals. Place them in a quarantine tank. Then while that is happening - if it is a parasite you will need to get it out of the tank. I am clueless on that except for killing it and starting over.

I did not quartine the corals. I might have done a few dips a while ago but I haven't bought coral in about 6-8 months, so I don't remember. Would I see a parasite? Is this common? Any other possibilities??

I'm having similar problems with my softies - my post didn't yield many leads. How much are your water changes? What are your water parameters? My skimmer doesn't seem to be producing as much skimmate as it used to but otherwise I can't find anything different in my setup. Have you read any about allelopathy? I don't run carbon but I guess it can decrease circulating toxins that corals release. Lighting any different or due for bulb changes?
good luck

How about magnesium and strontium?
I don't test for either one of those. I really don't know much about each one of them nor what hey do. I guess I can bring a water sample to the LFS and they can test some more.
