PLEASE HELP - with Blue Angel

I just bought a fairly large blue angel and would really appreciate some suggestions on how to best care for this fish. My tank is 55 gallons with two power filters. The store that I bought it from said that this is ok, but after reading some articles it makes me think that my tank may be too small. The angel is about 7-8inches in length. The tank has been set up for about 14 weeks with damsels. Before I got the angel, i removed the damsels to avoid compatability issues.

Not to be preaching, but you really should have known how to care for this particular angel BEFORE purchasing it.. Angels are very delicate fish. You will have to keep pristine water conditions, and your tank really has not been set up long enough to keep angels. As for the feeding requirement of this particular fish, I am unsure. A little research on the net should suffice, if you don't get an answer here

Check this out, it might help a little...Good Luck! :)

Thanks for your help, I think I will return the Angel tomorrow morning. Does anyone have any suggestions on any other fish that I could add to my tank?

I would go with some sort of goby (Firefish are a hearty choice), or a curios blenny. Possibly a small tang, most of them are fairly hearty. I put three yellow tangs in mine after only 6 weeks of being setup and they did great. You're not as limited as you think you are. Just do a little homework, decide what you like and what you have the means for...Happy Hunting and Good Luck! :)
