So, I don't have any images of the critter because when I try and snap pictures it'll quickly shrivel up and go away. But I can describe it very well. The thing looks similar to a worm (it's not a bristle worm though). I was watching it and when fully extended it will use the base (possibly its mouth) to pick up food or materials. It's maroon almost red like and has a few yellow stripes on it. The way it shrivels up reminds me of those toys when I was younger that was filled with water and was a thin plastic that would just move through your hands. I'm not sure how to really describe it any more than that but if anyone has any ideas on what it could be, let me know and I will Google image it and see if it matches up to what I am thinking of.
Side note - This morning when I took a look at it all the color was gone from the critter. I don't know if the light could have shocked it and may have sent it into a slow death, or if it's a type of defense mech... but the thing was still living and moving.

I'll try that tonight. That's the thing I'm talking about though... correct! When it shrivels up it just collapses inside of it's own body kind of like that water snake would.

BINGO! I looked up some images and it didn't really look like it. Then I looked at a video and it did everything mine does. Thanks for the info Saxman!
