Please Help with my digital cam!

Hi Guys,
My digital camera is a FujiFilm FinePix A204 and when i take a picture without using the flash it is incredibly blurred. When I take one with the flash it is fine, but without a flash it is useless on my tank. Its fine on everything else in life, but when it comes to my tank its too blurry!

I believe that when you take a pic without the flash and there isn't enough light , your shutter stays open longer to collect light. With the shutter open longer and an unsteady hand or moving subjects you get a blurry picture. Maybe try a tripod.
Rye, correct me if I am wrong.
There may also be a setting you can use on your camera to help this. Maybe shutter speed or white balance?
