Hey everyone. I've always loved fish, and loved watching them in aquariums, so I did what any normal person would do... I bought a 125 gallon aquarium. I bought it off of someone and it looks fairly bare. I have the aquarium, cabinet, the cover, and a heater. I do intend to make this a saltwater reef aquarium but need to know what I need to make this possible. I've been coming across places that say I only need a skimmer, others saying I need a Bio-Filter, and many others saying I need both! This tank has two nosels at the top with creveses above it where I am assuming the water drops down and goes into a tube like area. Below the tank in the cabinet are two hook ups and I don't know exactly what is meant to be there. What else do I need? I've provided pictures of this aquarium and wanted to know what I need. Plaese help, I'm extremely excited to get this going! On a side note, I know I need the live sand and dead sand (I was told I can mix 50/50), I also have a good 100 lbs in coral. What else do I need!?!? In advance, thank you all for your help!
