Please help with Power Heads

Hello,
I am fairly new to the board and have a question on powerheads. What is too much and what is not enough????? I have a 44 g. pentagon tank with 90lbs LR and 45lbs LS, BakPak skimmer and have recently added a few powerheads after reading ALOT. I have 2 MJ 1200's at either end of the tank near the top and 2 MJ 600 at either end near the bottom (behind rock). I have them on standard timers for 12 hours per day (6 hour intervals). Is this enough or too much. My tank has just finished cycling anout 10 days ago. I am waiting on a clean-up crew from SWF and don't have any fish yet. Does it sound like I am on the right track? Oh yeah, my lighting is a pendant 250W 12K MH from Hamilton. My plan is to copy a scene from a Florida/caribbean reef in my tank. Any suggestions on fish and corals. Thanks

for powerheads, i am not sure as to the rating, but my suggestion is always
10 x your gallons per hour total, any filter pumps and skimmers and poweerheads combined
in your cas that would be aminimum of 450 gph combined, you could go as high as 20x, esp in a reef system, and i would have circulation all the time, not 12 housrs a day
you want the water to be contantly moving

I can't say I'v ever heard of to much circulation. You sound like your on the right track to me.And I agree with fishhub, keep the water cycling 24/7.
