I'm ready to just about give up with this thing. It is my second one because I thought my first one didn't work. Well, the second doesn't work either. Its a simple concept. On @ 10:00 AM off 9:00PM. That is the setting for the PC's and then the Lunar light is suppose to kick on at 9:00 PM. This thing is just not going on and off. PLEASE HELP. Its driving me crazy, its so simple to set up but it is not cycling. Anyone that has any experience with this thing please write.

Im sorry, help me out here. What tabs? I don't see any tabs. I had the lights plugged into the outlets that are on "Timers" but they never came on. It appears that the yellow (day) outlets don't have power. Please write back. Anyone?

I will try. The first poster may have been talking about the regular dial type timer. The digital doesn't have tabs. Set the first channel (1 or A I forget to come on at ...on time... and off at ...off time. Specify everyday. The yellow outlets will be on during that time and the blue off. When the yellow are off the blue are on. You are only setting the yellow outlets. So plug lights into yellow outlet and moonlights into blue outlet. Does this help?

Trust me I am really happy you at least answered me. I did set the times the way it told me to. I have the whole idea of yellow day and blue night. I put the day lights on the yellows and the moon on the blue. No change though. I'm sorry I should have made myself clear, it is the digital. More help please. For some reason it just isn't turning on and off. I would call the co. direct but no luck finding a number.

thats the same one i use and i have no problems with it.. Make sure you have it set to Auto.
Remember if your messing with your setting at 2pm and you tell it turn turn the lights on at 1pm it will not turn on until 1pm the next day. Set it to turn on a few mins after your messing with it and once it comes on go back in and change the on time.

I really can't believe this. This thing is about to be thrown through the window. Let me get real basic here. #1 is the first yellow (day time) outlet. I set the on time on @ 10:00 AM and "off" at 9:00 PM. Then #2 is the second yellow (day time outlet) and set it also for on 10:00 AM and off at 9:00 PM. Both are on because of the power compacts. Get it?
Now # 3 is the the first blue (night time) outlet. I set that for on at 9:00 PM and off at 10:00 AM. number 3 is the moon light. Do I have this right? Do the numbers and colors correspond? Meaning.....#1 is the first yellow outlet and #2 is the second yellow outlet. #3 is the first blue outlet?
PLEASE let me know. I must be doing something wrong. :notsure:

Ok found your problem
All that #1 #2 stuff has nothing to do with the outlets. Thats for setting up your on/off to be different on different days.
What you need to do it set #1 to be on at 10am and off at 9pm 7 days a week and leave it alone.
This is how i have one set up at work
#1 on 9am off 5pm mon-fri
#2 on 11am off 2pm sat,sun
Since im not at work on the weekends im not there for daily topoffs and i haven't set up an auto topper yet so i find that less light over the tank means less evaporation .
The one i have at home is set
#1 on 9am off 5pm mon-sun
After you set number ones off times and have your days set just pless the Clk button , dont even bother putting in anything for #2 and so on unless your going to set it up like mine.
Any more questions just give me a call 931-551-5516 its my cell phone and my name is Jason

Holy crap, you might be my new hero. LOL. So how do I have the blue (night) come on or will it automatically come on between #1's of times? So sorry, I feel like an idiot. right now I have #1 on at 10:00 Am and off at 9:00 PM. I didn't set anything else. Now will the moon light come on at 9:00?

The blue outlets are always on when the yellow are off when set to auto.

yes. re-read my earlier post. when the yellow outlets are on the blue outlets are off. You are trying to set all 4 outlets. You can't do that. You can only set both yellows to be on at the sametime. Like I said and the above poster said, set #1 for on - off and your done.
