i have had a white sabae anemone for about a 10days and have had to fight to keep him alive... i had my water levels tested yesterday at the lfs and they were perfect... i had been feeding him frosen brine shrimp but when i went to get more at one of my lfs they were out but said that freeze dried krill would work just as well... so that is what i feed him last night and this morning... when i got home from class he was curled up and almost dead... i ran to another lfs and got some frozen brine shirm and he seens to be coming out of it but still looks iffy... i dont know what to do...
also i have a black sabae clown that is always laying in him and seems to knock out all the food i feed him... right now i netted the clown so that the anemone could eat tonight... so do you have any other suggestions??? which is better brine shrimp or krill??? i just got a long tenticle anemone what should i feed him??? :help:

Why do you think it was almost dead? I only ever fed mine every 3 days or so. A krill is a big piece of meat, are you sure he's not just full?
IMO, the clown is knocking the food out because you're feeding it too much. Clowns do things to help their hosts, not hurt them.

i was told to crush up the krill, wet it, then use a turkey baster on it once or twice a day for awhile... are you sure it will be fine if i dont feed it every day... its new to the tank... i have a 29gal and he sits on the bottom... i put him on a rock and he climbed down 2 days later... i keep reading to put them close to the light... should i put him back on the rock???
the krill is crushed up into managable peices
