Please Help

Okay so i have just baught a new tank that is a type i am not ued to. I am use to sumps, but got this tank for my sons nursery so i thought this would be an easier route. It has a gen x return pump (model gcx 40) and a red sea ocean clear canister. It is an over flow, but my problem is that millions of tiny bubbles are coming through my return. I have no idea what the problem is and have included some pictures. Also the bubbles build up on the front of the tank.

P.S. I cleaned the filter thinking this could have something to do with it already.

You've either got an air leak somewhere in the intake line, or the canister filter itself is sucking air. Maybe a bad o-ring or gasket. Now all you gotta do is find it.
