Please Help

My brother loves fish amd when he introduced me to salt water fish (I had never had fish) I fell in love with those bright little guys. I found a great 29 gallon tank that comes with everything that is required except the gravel. I think this would be a good size because I want to be able to have a few fish not just on and a ten gallon tank could only hold about one or two saltwater fish. Is this a good size for me????

even a 29 gallon wont allow to u to hv too many nice big fish. u cnt hv tangs for sure. maybe clownfish or 1 anthias mix w a few gobies.

I know but I just wanted like a blenny and a angel fish that when it got to big for my tank I was going to give it to my brother who has a fifty five gallon tank

what if the angel fish you want gets too big or isnt compatible with what your brother has in his tank! Then what? I think you need to stick with smaller fish or fish that stay small. Even dwarf angels need a bit more room than a 29 gallon after it is filled with live rock or decor. I say the ideal size to start with is a 55 gallon.

well true that is a hard one to answer
the angel is a small adult French angel
and can you give me tips on setting up a nice 29 gallon tank that can have a blenny because if you noticed by my username I have a thing for blennies

OMG, a french angel in a 29? I think you need to rethink your plan. I have seen french angels here just over 18 inches while in the water. Do the fish a favor and dont buy it.

Ok I don’t want to be the bad guy here BUT the first LFS you should visit is the library and the first piece of equipment you should buy is a good book on aquarium keeping you want to be in this crazy hobby (way of life we are in) for the long haul IMO
