Please Help

I am in the process of setting up an aggressive tank, 240 gallons to be exact. My local store wants 500 dollars to do the plumbing to the wet/dry, etc. There are holes predrilled in the back of the tank and on the bottom of the tank. What are the best ways to get the water to the sump, I can not put on a hanging overflow box. Can I do this myself, and how will I figure out what pump to get with the flowrate that Is made. Thanks much, Justin

$500.00 bucks !!!! Does that include the wet/dry, pipe/fittings and accessories or just the labor ???
If just the labor - do your wallet a big favor and DIY !
Have you ever worked with PVC pipe and cement?
Are you somewhat handy around tools and feel comfortable using them ?
Do you have a place to make a little mess and not get yelled at ??? garage/basement ?
Is there a Lowes or Depot nearby ?
Can you post pictures of your tank showing the position of the drilled holes and such ?
If you can provide as much detail regarding the equipment you are planning to purchase/use on this 240 gallon monster :p I am sure there are several folks on this board that would be willing to help you out along the entire way.
Some pretty sharap DIY'ers here I've noticed ;)
$500 bucks is $500 bucks
Tell everything you can Justin - let's get started :D
