I don't know what is wrong with my butterfly. This morning when i looked at my tank, he was breathing really fast, and having trouble swimming properly. When i got home from school he was hiding under a rock and still breathing really fast. He doesn't look like he has much time left. Is there anything i can do to help? Please give me any suggestions you have. All the other fish in the tank seem ok. This morning some of the fish appeared to have ick, i started treatment and all the spots are gone now. I know that is really fast, but they are.

what are your water parameters. PH,ammonia,nitrates,nitrites. How long has the tank been set up. What size tank and type of filter do you have?

12 gallon eclispse system, i don't know what the filter is called, but it is built in. Crushed coral bed, about 10 pounds of live rock. pH = 8.2
nitrates = 10ppm ammonia = 0.25 ppm nitrites = 0 salinity = 1.024 and the temp is 78

Can hyposalinity and a ich treatment be done at the same time? What do i use for the water in the hospital tank, cycled water, cause the only cycled water i have is the water already in my tank.
