Please Help

This orange blob thing was a hitchhiker on a mushroom rock a few months back, and now it looks like it's coming to life. It has antennas and is moving from the bottom to the top. Please can anyone tell me what it is? When we first noticed it we thought it might be a sponge. All input is greatly appreciated Thanks

hmm weird do you have another tank you can put it into untill some one can id it. im sure some one will know what it is .

My quess is a Foraminiferan. They are harmless.
Do a google search for more info. HTH

Hello anyone.
Hey Kip, bigmac or anyone do you have any of these or know of anyone having these in their tanks? I am a newbie to the SW. I have had my tanks for about a year now and going to set up my first reef only.

i think ive seen those at my lfs licted as flamingo tongue. A type of sea cucumbers, although i may be wrong
