please ID this

picked this up yesterday. LFS said it liked low light and will grow upsidedown. glued it to a pice of LR up top.
what is this and what does it need to thrive?

it's soft. about an inch long. the main piece is pink with green buds. smaller piece is just pink without buds. it's inverted in a cave

does it appear to be a small leather coral?
are there polyps that dissapear when it is touched?
is it slimey?

yes, the pollops come and go. they are neon green under actinic. i havnt touched it so i cant tell if it's slimy. dont know if it looks like a leather.

Dendronepthia or carnation coral is what it looks like to me.
(Or scleronepthia), to small to tell any diff.

Please post a pic, if you can, when it is open.
Based on the fact that your LFS told you to put it upside down, it makes me think they believe it to be a carnation coral.
In which case I definitely disagree with their belief that it is basically easy to keep. I strongly suggest you research this, as it requires special feeding.
