Hi,
I'm setting up my first horse tank and I would like to see pictures of your horse tanks to give me ideas.
Please post a full tank shot to help me with my aquascaping.
Thank you!

my tank was square, but here it is. There arent any horses in it now. Sorry so small, but I lost all my pictures when my computer crashed. This is the only one I could find.

You might call this a direct contrast to TeresaQ's beautiful, colorful tank.
I always enjoyed this rockwork, though. So did the horses!
No horses for about a year now...but almost ready to dive back in.

It looks good. I'm setting up my first horse tank now. I just got all the water in it today. I used live sand so hopefully the cycle wont take too long.

I have never used live sand, but would think it would help the cycle due to presence of beneficial bacteria already there. The longer you wait to bring the seahorses home after the cycle, the better, in any case. Not enough can be stressed about the benefit of stable, established water.
Will love to see as your tank progresses!

How are your pipes getting along?

Ive seen a lot of people use the grating to hold the plants. I think that its a good Idea and I'm thinking about using one in my tank.
Does anyone sell a good one? I have no Idea where to score one.

i made mine out of egg crate that i picked up at a lowes or home depot. then super glued it together, made a bottom and front and back no sides, and used an algae clip to hold it on the glass. since i didnt have a fuge i wanted a place for pods to hang out and multiply.
