Please recommend a good return pump!!!

I have a mag 7 drive for a return pump. I removed it to run out side of my wet/dry to cut down on the heat. I heard by dooing so would shorten my pump life.
What should I get to keep heat out of my aquarium and move water up 3 to 4 feet @ a good flow for a 55-gal aquarium?

You are using the right pump for the job. The Mag7 is a good pump. I have had the mag5 running for a couple of years now and have never had a problem. (it's external)

I used a RIO 3100 for years. Contrary to popular belief, I never had any problems, All my powerheads are RIO also. I do use a MAG5 on my Berlin though...Good pumps!!
