plexiglas baffles or glass

I'm trying to learn how to make a sump and i was wondering........
Can i use plexiglas baffles on a glass tank ? Or do i have to use glass baffles ?

I prefer glass. Since most silicones don't adhere plastics to glass very well.

thanks for the advice . i guess i will go for glass beffles then. Any advice on how thick of glass i should use ? this is a 75 gallon tank im turning into a sump/fuge

go for glass plexy works but can let go after awhile thats what I built mine out of and had to redo it after about 2 months.

redoing is what im trying to avoid. so let me thank everyone for there help. i'll listen to all the advice i can get because i dont have the experience . YET, but im learning

there is a product called 1001 made by Weld-On.
It is designed for just such combination usage. Available in most any plastic shop.
