I have a real problem. I have a 75 gallon tank. The tank itself is about 6 years old but I just set it back up about 3 months ago. Today I noticed that I have not one but two small hairline cracks on opposite sides and opposite corners. ANY info on how to go about fixing this would be a pleasure. I have no other tank to send livestock to, and I am starting to worry. The water is not leaking out the side of the aquarium yet but I am afraid the water pressure might break the glass. The cracks do not look like they go all the way thru the glass either. I am fearing for their lives please help me...Josh

If I were you I would run down to Home Depot and they sell something called Marine Goop. I used it help water proof the ply wood I used for the back of my tank when I built it. It won't fix the problem but it may help slow the leap. Then I would get a marine epoxy and smear it over the cracks and then use a selant. I think this will work, but I'm not sure. Espically if the cracks are wet. But I guess it wouldn't hurt to try

try to lower the water level(less presure) will give you more time.
Or
get some RubberMaid or big Trash container from WalMart etc. to hold your live stock temporary
and hopefully some one will show you have to fix the crack.
