Pod population

I used to see pods and bristle worms running around quite a bit before I added what is listed below, now I rarely see one, did I wipe them out? Do I need to repopulate them? I also added a 6 Line Wrasse. I also would like to add a fish with some yellow in the near future, keep in mind the tank is only 40 gallon and has a lot of LR, this will be the last fish, as I'll begin with coral and an anemone after that. Is what I have listed below a good variety of creatures that will thrive in the system I built for them or do I need to change anything, thank you.

I used to have pods too in my tank and now they are all gone! I am trying to put together a pile a rubble rock and capurela in the corner of the tank so that they will propogate again and my nitrates will be lower. The only creature I have that eats them is the sand-sifter star (or so I thought). I think that I am doing the right thing. Any suggestions?

I have the 40 "breeder", 36" x 18" x 18", I like the tank, but have a 90 I will setup as soon as the "little woman" finds a spot. The 6 line has been in there about a day, so we'll see how he likes it. I have quite a lot of rubble on the sea floor, but the hermits split time between the rock and the floor. I will get more LS from a friend and maybe a pod kit. I heard the peps will eat pods, how about the serpent star?

Your peppermints eat them. And a refugium would help maintain them. But you may have to reseed your tank and refugium(if you get one) with them.
