Anemones are'nt poisonous ..if you were an extremely allergic person it could cause a reaction.Some marine creatures are venomous,such as rabbitfish,stonefish,lionfish,stingrays,scorpionfish,blue-ringed octopus,and there are others.The blue-ringed octopus,box jellyfish aka sea wasp can cause death.

If you are stung by coral or anemones there are several ways to neutralize or lessen the sting.One way is to neutralize the stinging cells with white vinegar,then use a disposable razor or tweezers to pull out the stinging cells.This will kill,and remove the nematocysts.If you suffer from allergic reactions seek medical attention.
