poisonous centipede?

i just noticed there was a 3 inch centopede in the rocks moving around , i have had the saltwater nano for a couple months and never noticed it and i found a white baby star fish about the size of a nickel, just want to know what kinda centopede is it and is it poisonous, and would anyone know what kinda starfish that was.

A small group of Bristle Worms are known as fireworms because of the painful stings. An even smaller number can harm corals.
Most are harmless and beneficial scavengers, although they can get large.

I forget who it was but you gotta find that thread talking about the huge 2foot long or however long it was bristle worm that was removed from someones tank- :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared:

yes some get reather large but in general they are good guys. the star is probably an asterina star which most of tham are benificial aswell.

yea a person with a huge reef, on here called oregon reef, caught a 6 foot bristle worm in is tank

The star is likely an Asterina. Do a search for it here on the board and you will find pictures. It is not a "baby," it is full grown probably.
