poly filter ?

anyone ever use a product called poly filter or does it have the same efect as carbon?

Yes, I used polyfilters in my FO tanks for years. They worked beautifully in that application, and no, they aren't the same as running carbon. I used carbon as well. They were a bit pricey and with the trickle filter I was using, the polyfilters exhausted quickly and had to be replaced often. I'm not certain what the implications would be in a reef.
