pom pom crab?

does anyone have a pom pom crab? (aka boxing crab) Ive seen them at my lfs and i have been thinking about getting one because i never see them around and i think it would make a great addition to my 12g.
ever seen them go after any fish? swf.com's page for them does not list what their diet is... anyone know? i just dont wanna get it if its gonna be punching out my picasso percula with its anemone fingers...

I have one. You will not see it often as they hide in the rocks for the most part. I have often thought after not seeing mine for a month that it was dead then one day there it is.Seems to be the norm for these creatures. They are omnivores I believe and eat just about any food that falls. I have seen mine also grab algae sheet pcs.

i have one too, i love it. so very coral friendly. mine is more nocturnal than anything though. .. funny story, i added a emerald crab the other day, and it thinking its king sh1t kept bugging the pom pom, then he tried pinching one of its legs..and then i watched my pom pom sting the emerald multiple times, it was great. now he dont go near my pom pom

I love mine. They are very shy though, so hopefully you will get to see yours because you only have a 12g. I would definitley recommend this invert (or even two of them) because they have great personality!!

I've got a total of 5 of them. 2 in a nano, 2 in a 75g reef and 1 in a 150g reef. They are fun to watch and a while back I got some *action* shots of the pair in the nano
