Anything that would eat mysis i probably wouldn't put in there...with the babies being about that size but skinnier, you'd be runnning quite the risk...it'd be quite the snack for them.

They are TINY right now, I mean fit onto my pinky finger small. I'm sure they will take awhile to get big. There is NO way they could hurt ur ponies at the size they are. I can TRY to get a pic to u!

it's risky. i know you have had mroe experience then my rykna but i've been studying and reading for 6 months now and all i've read is brittles are risky. maby tiny micro brittles.

I think that's what NyButterfly has, I sure hope so!!! Mini stars for my mini ponies!!!!!!

oh yeah, mini ponies. i don't know if the sizew ill be a problem. i know brittles have a chance of trappign and kiling anything thats slowa dn can fit. you may want more opinions. ut sicne yours are so small i would probably not risk it.

if you are referring to stars like asterina(sp) or the tiny tiny little hitchikers stars(size of a nickel w/legs) then you could probably do it, but anything other i think theyd eat babies if they could get to it.

mini brittle stars can be aggresive. now asterinas i doubt you would have any problem whatsoever. but een small brittles with tiny horses may be a problem.

I have both....the tiny lil white mini stars but I got a good amount of lr from someone around here and their adult brittle star apparently spawned and I have baby brittle stras......I have no doubt they will grow to be regular sized stars so I would advise to watch them as they get bigger but I would NEVER put my friend's pony family at risk!!
These stars would fit on a nickle or maybe even a dime WITH the legs!!!! their disks ave VERY small......they are hard to see if I hold it on my fingertip

I will send as many as I can snag off the rocks....they are out when I turn the lights on so I can grab them then and at feeding time, sometimes the will venture out.......I will put them in the same bag with the plants....I have to try to find a small box so I can get these to you tomorrow

I dunno where to find a small one so maybe if it ok with you, I will wait to get the package from u and use the same packaging as I'm sure you took great care packing huh?!?!?

For the styrafoam box head to a bait and tackle fishing/hunting store. They should have small ones for packing bait. I would buy a small one for your stars and coral, and then a larger one that the little box fit's into, then wrap it up in

a cardboard box and taaadaaaaaaaaah.
The package I sent does the job, but it is a far cry from quality sw stores. Make sure to label it DO NOT FREEZE

I can't wait to see what the stars and coral look like
