Some tangs eat poop, but of course they poop also and I have never seen them eat there own.

Actually, I had a regal tang that would poop, and all the fish would go crazy eating it, including the regal. Gross!

That's one nasty tang you've got there. Mine clears the tang when he poops. (Not the water mind you, but everything else flies away to the rock crevices to avoid the bombardment of the 9" tangs' dung. I run away too..thinking "You were so pretty two minutes ago you nasty thing.")
